Redwood Freshman Fall 6-1 to Serra (San Mateo)

In a sharp contrast to the season opener, Redwood pitchers gave up 6 runs (5 earned) on 10 hits. Serra broke up a scoreless game with 3 runs in the 4th inning followed by another 3 in the 5th.

Nick Welch led the offense with 3 of Redwood’s 7 hits, batting in Redwood’s sole run in the 6th inning.
