Redwood Freshman Return to Winning Ways Outscoring Bishop O’Dowd 5-2

O’Dowd opened the scoring with a run in the 2nd. Redwood Freshman answered with 3 runs in the 3rd and a pair in the 4th to seal the win.

Redwood’s offense was led by Alex Hagen with 2 of Redwood’s 8 hits, batting in 2 runs on a double in the 3rd. Matt Birchenough and Jonathan Yu also contributed doubles with Matt, Jonathan and Willie Sine also recording RBIs.

Matt Birchenough pitched 4 innings for the win, giving up 1 hit and striking out 3.
